What Did Brown Do For Me?

When I got home from work yesterday I HAD to open my boxes!  Even though I wouldn't be able to do anything with anything in them for a week, I still had to see and touch it all!

I started from the top...here's the first one!
Ah, look!  The World of Thanks stamp, one Tin of Cards kit, the Festival of Trees Stamp Set and  Framelits (at 15% off until May 31 only), Mint Macaron cardstock,  and red and green Christmas ribbon that was on clearance.   Pretty good for just one box!
Here's the second box. Tear Tape, a small scallop punch (retiring), Whisper White cardstock,  five more Tin of Cards kits, and five packages of tiny boxes (these are retiring and I love them so much, so I bought 100 tiny boxes! LOL)
Here's all of it together.  So much goodness in there.   I can't wait to share all of this with you.

Happy happy joy joy

Who else LOVES their UPS guy?  He brought two giant boxes yesterday that I am dying to open!  I want to touch all of the things!
Look what Brown did for me!
I wonder what all is in there?  The Tin of Cards kits maybe? New paper? Framelits? Punches?  I'll show you what's in there later...stay tuned.

What's a Magic Card?

What's a Magic Card You Ask?
It involves window sheets and well...magic.

This is what the recipient sees when they take the card out of the envelope.

Pretty, but a little ho hum.
But then when the pull on the baker's twine at the top of the easel it magically becomes this!

Wowza!  Like magic it turns into a painting!
We saw one of these at OnStage 2016 and I was determined to learn how to make one.  If you'd like to have a magic card class, grab a few friends and email me, we can be magicians together!

Introducing the 2016-2018 In Colors

Welcome to the stage, here for a limited time,  the 2016-2018 In Colors!
Please meet Mr. Dapper Denim, perfectly coordinated for all of those  less than formal occasions in your life.

Next up is Ms. Emerald Envy, the perfect accompaniment for those nights when you want your friends to be green with envy!

Ah, yes, here's Ms. Flirty Flamingo, she's quite the charmer here at the Beach Club.

Sweet Sugarplum is the nicest, sweetest one that you'll ever run into in a color array.

Miss Peekaboo Peach thinks she's quite the thing.   She has southern charm and good manners;  someone you'd love to take home to meet your mother.

And there you have it, your 2016-2018 In Colors!  Let's give them a round of applause!

It's Monday! Spread a Little Joy Today!

I know Mondays are usually blech days, but why not try to spread a little joy today!  Mondays give us a chance to help SOMEONE ELSE have a joyful week.

Ideas to spread joy:
Send a card
Buy someone's coffee
Tell someone that you like their shoes
Send a card
Compliment someone's outfit
Invite your significant other to go on a walk or bike ride after work (just you, no kids)
Oh, and did I mention...send a card.  What you're out of cards? I can help with that (rubs hands together like Gru in Despicable Me)

No really.  Make an effort today to make someone else's Monday joyful.

Joyfully Yours,
Elizabeth

P.S.  You look very nice today and I love your shoes!

Monthly Events

I have some fun events planned for the coming six months!  I think you're going to want to come to all of them.  Just saying.

May 25 - Good Bye Catalog - Sad to See You Go
We will be making the Tin of Cards kit, as shown in the picture.

The class will be limited to the first six who submit payment.  The class fee is $20, BUT $16.50 of your payment can be spent on items from the NEW catalog!  Additionally, I will have retired stamps, punches, and framelits for sale and am running a buy one get one sale...so what you purchase in retired products you get…

OnStage 2016

OnStage 2016 was so much fun and so inspiring.  Sara Douglass spoke to us about our #6monthstampingoals.  She got me motivated to start stamping again!

That's Sara is in the middle.  Isn't she adorable?   And so gracious to take photos with the starstruck demos!
Sara asked us to make our #6monthstampingoals to be to hold one additional event each month at a minimum.  My goals are to restart my monthly card club and to have one scheduled event each month.  Any classes or stamping parties will be in addition to these two scheduled events.

At OnStage 2016 we were able to purchase a special selection of products from the 2016-2017 catalog that won't be available in the catalog pre-order period.  Here's a card that I made with the NEW copper embossing powder and the hostess set called "Pun Intended".  This set is only available to hostesses...so email me to book a party so you can buy it with your hostess dollars!
